Laser Eyelid Surgery
Looking to improve the appearance of your eyelids? Eyelid surgery can rejuvenate your eyes and have you looking more youthful and awake. Dr. Silbert specializes in laser eyelid surgery – an elegant approach which often leads to less swelling, bleeding, and quicker recovery time. Cosmetic eyelid surgery can be performed on both the upper and lower eyelids, as well as the brow.
CO2 Laser eyelid surgery can be performed on the upper or lower eyelids and can be combined with full-face or peri-ocular CO2 Laser resurfacing to tighten the skin of the face and/or the skin around the eyes. Dr. Silbert performs the surgery at Physicians’ Surgery Center LGH with light sedation to enhance patient comfort.
Instead of using a blade, a laser is used on ‘cutting mode’ to remove the skin and the fat during the procedure. The laser serves to both cut and cauterize the skin and fat and is able to close blood vessels while it cuts, minimizing bleeding. The laser is also able to make a very precise incision that heals with minimal scarring. Using the laser Dr. Silbert is able to minimize bleeding and bruising, which can help patients heal more rapidly.
Cost: The cost of cosmetic eyelid surgery depends upon several factors. Pricing is discussed at your consultation visit.
There is a $200 consultation visit fee. Should you proceed with surgery, that amount goes toward the cost of your procedure.

Botox & Juvederm
Botox’s smoothing effect on skin is effective in eliminating or reducing wrinkles on the face, such as crow’s feet, smile line, forehead lines caused by raising eyebrows, and the space between the eye brows over the bridge of the nose. Botox injections relax the muscles in these areas, causing them to not move as much while the patient makes certain facial expressions.
Juvederm is a “next-generation” filler that is made from hyaluronic acid. This naturally occurring substance in your skins helps to add volume and hydrate the skin. The effects can last up to one year. A Juvederm injection flows easily into the skin and a provides a smooth, natural look and feel as it fills wrinkles, laugh lines, or other areas where wrinkles are prevalent. Conestoga Eye utilizes the suite of Juvederm fillers, such as Vobella, Voluma, and Ultra.
Cost: Botox $15/unit, Juvederm $675/vial
Patients looking to schedule cosmetic Botox or filler outside our evening cosmetic hours will be charged a convenience fee.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
As we age, our skin ages with us. Laser Skin Resurfacing impacts the top layers of the dermis, promotes collagen growth, tightens the skin, and can help soften fine lines, wrinkles, and skin discoloration.
This procedure can be done in our Lancaster office under local anesthetic, or can be performed at the Surgery Center under general anesthesia. It can also be added at the Surgery Center to other medical or cosmetic procedures.
Cost In Office: between $550-1550, depending on area resurfaced.

Medical Peels
A Medical Peel at Conestoga Eye is a unique chemical peel that enhances a good skin care routine. It is for patients who might not want the intensity or downtime of laser skin resurfacing, but want more than a basic exfoliant.
Medical-Grade Peels impact the outermost layers of the dermis and can provide an evening of overall skin tone and texture, a softening of fine lines and wrinkles, and impact acne scarring.
Our Medical Peels are self neutralizing. Peel results take 7-10 days to actualize.
Cost: $250
Blemish Removal
A number of minor blemishes like moles, warts, and skin tags may affect your appearance. Many clients seek removal for cosmetic reasons. Removal of skin lesions requires only about 30 minutes and can be performed under a local anesthetic. An office visit is required prior to blemish removal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why might I need eyelid lift surgery near me?
Laser eyelid surgery is used to remove excess skin from the upper eyelids and to remove fatty bags of the upper lids and below the eyes. Although results of eyelid surgery can be very good using a blade to make the incisions, Dr. Silbert believes that the laser provides for a more exacting surgery with less black and blue, and quicker healing.
Eyelid lift surgery is most commonly used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, bags, and drooping eyelids. This procedure can be helpful for those with sagging or hooded eyelids and may make you look more youthful and rested. For some people, sagging eyelids can even interfere with vision, so eyelid lift surgery can also improve eyesight.
While these procedures can often be covered by insurance, Conestoga Eye also offers these services for the cosmetically-minded patient who would not be approved through insurance.
Is laser facial resurfacing safe?
Yes, laser facial resurfacing is a safe and effective procedure. Our experienced team of doctors will assess your individual needs before recommending a treatment plan. We take every precaution to ensure your safety and satisfaction with the results.
Do your Botox doctors near me accept insurance?
Botox for Blepharospasm is one of the only instances where Botox is covered by insurance. Botox for this diagnosis is injected in areas where Blepharospasm is affecting your vision, and not necessarily in areas you would like for cosmetic purposes.
If you are looking to see if medical Botox is covered by your insurance, we recommend you contact your insurance carrier. To view our full list of insurance providers, visit our Insurance page.
